Bob Webber
is currentlyPresident of the Rio Grande Modeling & Historical
Society. He is the owner of the
drgw.org web site.
Bob founded
the Slimrails, RR Research, Gunnison, Silverton, Tweetsie, and
4L (logging) eGroups mailing lists and moderates the RR Research
and several otehr lists.
He admits
that he is a Rubber Gauger, though now primarily in Sn3, he has
worked in N, HO, Hon3, On3, & Fn3, modeling the Denver &
Rio Grande Western, Colorado Southern (narrow gauge) and their
predecessors.
Bob is a
Life member of the Colorado Railroad
Museum, and the Alpine Tunnel Historic Association, member
of the Friends of the
Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, Denver
& Salt Lake Historical Society, The Denver, South Park
& Pacific Historical Society,
The Burlington Route Historical Society, The
Union Pacific Historical Society, The
Western Pacific Railroad Historical Society, the The
Railway & Locomotive Historical Society, Inc., and the
Denver
& Rio Grande Historical Foundation.
Bob was born
and raised in northern California, now lives with his wife Alice,
and dog Roxie in
Sleepy Hollow, Illinois, and works as a Network Engineer and IT
consultant in Schaumburg, Illinois
